During this workshop, led by two architects (Étienne Duval & Julie Marthe Hoffmann), come, and draw a portrait of an architecture: a house.

In collaboration with the retirement homes of Esch-sur-Alzette, some residents are waiting for you at the Konschthal to tell you about their childhood home.

Similar to the situation where you decide to have your portrait made as a souvenir during your holidays, this workshop proposes you to draw a portrait of the described houses.

How was the house? What shape? What windows and doors? What architectural elements?

From a real story, an abstract, imaginative, personal, and new portrait is created, which is later represented in the form of a sketch. At the end of the day, each house will have a multitude of fantasy portraits in which reality and representation stand side by side, similar to the works of Tina Gillen.

Facilitators: Étienne Duval & Julie Marthe Hoffmann
