This experience focusses on the small things that surround us and that we often seem to overlook. We use a special process that was invented to make an impression of an object in metal.
Using a sheet of copper as a support, we transform the material by revisiting techniques for creating artistic reliefs (such as repoussé, pressing and rubbing).
Through this exploration, we will study details, shapes and materials. The value we attribute to these objects will be preserved in the created copy.
Workshop conceptualized by Birgit Thalau (The workshop will be carried out by the Konschthal mediation team).
