As part of the exhibition “Five Hours, Fifty Days, Fifty Years” by artist David Claerbout, photographer and artist Neckel Scholtus leads a creative photo workshop for school classes, centered on one key question: How can time be captured in one single image?

Echoing the work of David Claerbout—where the boundaries between photography, film, and the perception of time begin to dissolve—this workshop invites students to experiment with long exposure as a way to make movement and transformation visible.
The camera becomes more than a tool for freezing moments; it turns into an instrument for observing and revealing temporal processes and transitions.

All materials provided by the Konschthal.
