The training is aimed at primary school teachers who are looking for didactic ways to integrate the cultural offer in the field of contemporary art, represented by the Konschthal in Esch in their daily teaching practice.

The training will first allow teachers to familiarize themselves with the retrospective exhibition Anachronisms by Lithuanian artist Deimantas Narkevičius (24.09.2022 - 15.01.2023) and to assess its relevance in relation to to their needs and to explore the cross-cutting pedagogical paths underlying this exhibition.

The cinematographic work of Deimantas Narkevičius offers a unique and topical vision, between documentary and autobiographical fiction, of the post-Soviet era of his native country. His work summons the ghosts and witnesses of the past to confront them with this new Lithuanian society, fully aware of a recent past, but in affirmation of its new European identity.

In addition, the training will allow teachers to become familiar with the photographic exhibitions of American artists Clegg & Guttmann and Luxembourg artist Pasha Rafiy, who in their works revisit the portrait.

On the occasion of this training, you will discover didactic materials developed for your classes in order to make them discover in a playful and educational way the works of art exhibited.
