A Creative Workshop Around Sound

The Sound Lab is an immersive workshop inviting children and teenagers to explore the art of creating music from the world around them. Guided by musician and professional producer Sacha Hanlet, participants discover how everyday sounds — the opening of a tap, the rhythm of footsteps, the hum of a room — can become the building blocks of a musical composition.

Using simple tools such as their mobile phones as recording devices, participants capture, experiment with, and transform these sounds into original creations. No prior musical experience is required — only curiosity and attentive listening.

The Sound Lab reveals that music is not limited to instruments; it lives within every space we inhabit.

About Sacha Hanlet

Sacha Hanlet is a musician and producer based in Luxembourg with twenty years of experience. Drummer of the band Mutiny On The Bounty and singer, songwriter and producer of the project Them Lights, he has performed hundreds of concerts around the world, developing a strong and distinctive artistic identity.

Alongside his work on stage and in the studio, Sacha is also an experienced educator and workshop facilitator, supporting young people and emerging artists in music production and sound creation.
