What does freedom mean to you? Echoing the project “What’s the Sound of Freilibre / Freelivre / Libera Livre?”, developed as part of the exhibition état bruit, as well as artist Julia Believa’s exhibition, this workshop invites participants to translate their own vision of freedom into an image.
Using a DIY printmaking technique with recycled Tetra Pak cartons and a pasta machine as a printing press, each participant creates a small engraved printing plate representing a word, symbol, shape, or emotion associated with freedom. The prints are then produced manually using the pasta press. Participants leave with their own printed card and are invited to contribute to a collective artwork by sharing a copy of their creation.
Led by the Konschthal art mediation team.
