During this workshop, led by Etienne Duval, pupils of grade 6 at the Lycée Technique de Lallange drew a portrait of an architectural feature: a house.
Following an interview with people living in the "Op der Léier" retirement home in Esch-sur-Alzette, the pupils created a portrait of the house they described. A meeting between generations around stories of childhood homes was born, plunging the pupils into the past and leading them to visually represent what was described and told. From a real story, an abstract, imaginative, personal and new portrait was born, which is being exhibited at the Konschthal to mark the close of Tina Gillen's 'Flying Mercury' exhibition.
Come along to the Konschthal from 10 to 12 November to discover the portraits created by the young people.
In collaboration with: Etienne Duval and the Lycée technique de Lallange.
