Workshop - artistic intervention - public space
A participatory workshop that invites people to collectively rethink how public space can sound. We start with simple yet essential questions: How does the city sound today? How do we want it to sound tomorrow? And what kind of sonic environment do we want to inhabit? Working together with the participants, we use The Swarm (a mobile multi-speaker system developed by aifoon) to introduce sound into unexpected corners and hidden edges of a square, park, or other shared space. Through attentive listening, response, and layering, participants collaboratively shape a living soundscape: one that is fluid, dynamic, and constantly evolving.
