Albeyt

Between the anchoring of roots and the wandering of souls in search of shelter. Each gesture tells the story of what we leave behind — familiar walls, beloved faces, comforting scents — and what we carry with us nonetheless: memories, hopes, and a certain nostalgia.

Biography

Born in 1993 in Damascus, Yara Al Hasbani studied ballet and contemporary dance at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus. She is a member of the Atelier of Artists in Exile. A laureate of the "Visual Arts" residency program of the Académie des Beaux-Arts x Cité Internationale des Arts, she presented her first group creation, Elham, on the confiscation of women's bodies at the Opéra Comique in Paris.
