Letizia Romanini devises arrangements and processes to make visual certain conditions and dimensions – such as time, chance, or light – that are not directly tangible but have a lasting formative influence on our lives. Her studio functions as a kind of laboratory in which she observes, experiments with, and analyses the environment to produce works that connect movement, representation, and documentation.
Letizia Romanini (1980, Esch-sur-Alzette) is a Luxembourgish artist who lives and works between Luxembourg and Strasbourg. She holds degrees in Visual Arts (Université Bloch, 2006); Decorative Arts, with a specialisation in Objects/Flexible Materials under the direction of Edith Dekyndt (École Supérieure de Strasbourg, 2009); and from the CFPI - Centre de formation des plasticiens intervenants at the HEAR (Strasbourg, 2018).
